研究领域为纳米杂化生物材料及应用, 主持及参与国家自然科学基金、科技部重点研发计划子任务及省部级项目15项,累计获得横、纵向经费150余万,在Advanced Materials, National Science Review, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Advanced Healthcare Materials等期刊发表论文40篇,H-index 21,相关成果被人民日报旗下《健康时报》等知名媒体报道。获相关发明专利授权5项,实用新型专利10项,其中2项已实现转化。
